Cooperating Partners
Intentional Software Corporation
As a subcontractor of Intentional Software Corporation founded by former Microsoft vice president Charles Simonyi, NETvisor develops software development tools and related template applications that go far beyond the efficiency and reliability of current software technologies and drastically reduce their complexity. These applied solutions are based on brand new international research achievements such as generative programming, intentional programming and aspect-oriented programming.
The Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, Budapest University of Technology and Economics
Most members of the NETvisor team are graduates of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics; some of them even work there as instructors. NETvisor's professional coordination with the institution is a natural consequence of this fact. NETvisor has concentrated its market experience and theoretical expertise in a course still under design and soon available to students as "Telecommunications Support Systems."
Eötvös Loránd University
With NETvisor as its collaborating partner, the ELTE Faculty of Informatics received funding under the Economic Competitiveness Operative Programme announced by the Ministry of Economy and Transport in cooperation with the "Europe Application Preparation Fund" to found and operate the Eötvös Loránd University Informatics Cooperation Research and Education Center (ELTE IKKK).
IKKK's primary objective is to create an open technology software development environment and a tightly-knit skilled workforce to raise the competitiveness of the Hungarian software industry to a new level. Members of the consortium and outside companies use this environment in a service setting to develop mission-critical software products. Within the framework of the project, experts of the University and business partners collaborate in basic and applied research in utilization orientation. The achievements of research and development are applied in the education system in the course "Technological Tools of Software Development" already available to students.
Institute for Software Integrated Systems,
Vanderbilt University (USA)
NETvisor has established strong collaboration with the Institute for Software Integrated Systems (ISIS), Vanderbilt University (USA) in emerging applications of the Model Integrated Computing (MIC) tool suite of ISIS. The open source MIC tool suite of ISIS is widely used in research and industrial programs with strong emphasis on model-based design environments for networked embedded systems and distributed systems applications.
University of West Hungary
NETvisor is participating in the education of the course "Managing IT Systems" at the University of West Hungary, Sopron. In cooperation with the University, we have developed a novel course material, which covers the challenges of managing and operating a modern enterprise IT infrastructure. The topics discussed range from maintaining application systems to the performance management of enterprise networks.
